GOVERNMENT DESPERATE FOR DISTRACTION

Scott Morrison must release the Ruddock Review immediately - before the Wentworth byelection.

Instead of releasing the Ruddock review in full, Scott Morrison is making a pathetic attempt to distract from his own governments mess.

In 2013, Labor strengthened protections for LGBTIQ+ Australians under the Sex Discrimination Act to include sexual orientation and gender identity, a move that was widely welcomed at the time.

Exemptions for religious schools under the Act already existed.

Mr Morrison has created hurtful uncertainty for families by not releasing the report in full and allowing a proper debate on these issues to be had.

He is also taking the voters of Wentworth for mugs. They are being asked to cast their vote for a Liberal candidate whose party is not being honest about what they are planning to do.

If Scott Morrison isn't planning any nasty surprises for Australian voters after October 20, then why wont he come clean on what he has planned?

Mr Morrison has no option but to release the report in full immediately.
