KEYSBOROUGH RESIDENTS WIN WITH UPGRADE OF TATTERSON PARK

Member for Isaacs Mark Dreyfus has welcomed $4.86 million of federal funding for the development of a multi-purpose sporting hub at Tatterson Park, Keysborough.

This funding is wonderful news for residents of Keysborough, Mr Dreyfus said.

I congratulate the City of Greater Dandenong, which has worked very hard to secure this funding.

This sporting hub will include a new Sporting and Community Pavilion and a synthetic playing pitch. It will be of great benefit for all residents in the City of Greater Dandenong.

I was very pleased to give my support to this project and I look forward to seeing this new facility completed and used by local sportspersons, Mr Dreyfus said.

A total of $4.86 million is being contributed by the Commonwealth Government for the project.

The total cost of the project is $9.73 million, with the balance to be funded by the City of Greater Dandenong.
