The Aspendale Lifesaving Clubs summer season has begun swimmingly after it was awarded a $5,000 federal grant through the Stronger Communities Program to buy new nippers boards. The grant was approved by the Department of Business following endorsement by Member for Isaacs Mark Dreyfus.

ASPENDALE LIFESAVING CLUB RIDES WAVE OF SUCCESS WITH GRANT
The Aspendale Lifesaving Clubs summer season has begun swimmingly after it was awarded a $5,000 federal grant through the Stronger Communities Program to buy new nippers boards. The grant was approved by the Department of Business following endorsement by Member for Isaacs Mark Dreyfus.
In the past five years the number of nippers registered at the Aspendale Lifesaving Club has increased by 67%, Mr Dreyfus said.
This grant will allow the club to continue riding its wave of success as one of the City of Kingstons premier clubs.
I congratulate the Aspendale Lifesaving Club on its success and wish it the very best for the upcoming summer season, Mr Dreyfus said.
