APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIR OF NACLC
Labor congratulates Rosslyn Munro on her appointment as chair of the board of the National Association of Community Legal Centres (NACLC).
Ms Munro, co-ordinator of the Women's Legal Service Queensland, has a wealth of experience in delivering legal assistance services to the community and, importantly, in providing services to women facing family violence.
Rosslyn is the coordinator of the Women's Legal Service Queensland which is located in my electorate of Moreton and provides frontline legal services across Queensland to women, said Graham Perrett. It is very appropriate that NACLC has appointed someone with Rosslyn's vast experience in dealing with family violence to head its Board.
I congratulate Rosslyn on taking on this important and challenging new role, said Mark Dreyfus. Labor looks forward to continuing to work productively with NACLC in ensuring that all Australians enjoy access to justice.
