ANOTHER MINISTER SPLITS FROM TURNBULL ON NIC
Another day, and another government minister splits from Prime Minister Turnbull on whether to support Labor's plan for a National Integrity Commission.
Yesterday, Assistant Minister to the Treasurer Michael Sukkar was asked repeatedly whether he supported a federal anti-corruption body:
Raf Epstein: Do you support the idea of a National Integrity Commission or a National ICAC?
Michael Sukkar: No no, I support the extensive range of anti-corruption measures we've got in place at the moment.
Epstein: So you don't think we need a national body.
Sukkar: No, no I don't.

Barnaby Joyce has already ruled out his support for a National Integrity Commission on multiple occasions, despite Mr Turnbull saying he is open to it and Attorney-General Christian Porter says he is not closed-minded.
Does the Government support Labor's National Integrity Commission, or not?
What exactly have they got to hide from Australians?
Labor's offer of bipartisanship on this important issue is genuine. All parties have an interest in raising public confidence in federal government.
It's time for the Government to get its act together and get on board.
