PATTERSON LAKES COMMUNITY CENTRE FIRE
The recent fire at the Patterson Lakes Library and Patterson Lakes Community Centre is a blow to the entire Kingston community but is particularly difficult for residents of Patterson Lakes who most frequently use these great community facilities.
We are lucky that no one was hurt in the fire and I thank the Country Fire Authority brigades for their speedy response to this incident.
Community centres and libraries are at the heart of a community. Residents of Patterson Lakes should know that the Kingston community is with them and that their elected representatives will work to ensure that the Patterson Lakes Library and Patterson Lakes Community Centre are returned to public use as soon as possible.
