MARK DREYFUS AND SONYA KILKENNY TO RACE OFF AGAIN IN RIVER RUN
Federal Member for Isaacs Mark Dreyfus QC MP and State Member for Carrum, Sonya Kilkenny MP will race each other for the second year running in the 6km Carrum Coast Guard Around the River Fun Run on Sunday February 26.
I just pipped Sonya at the post in the 2016 Carrum Coast Guard Fun Run, so Ill have to train hard to go back to back in 2017, Mr Dreyfus said.
Win, lose or draw, Ill just be happy to help raise some funds for the Carrum Coast Guard, Mr Dreyfus said.
State Member for Carrum Sonya Kilkenny will be aiming to beat her 2016 time in this years fun run.
Im pretty confident I can knock off Mark this year, Ms Kilkenny said.
The Carrum Coast Guard is one of the great institutions of our community and I encourage all local residents to consider entering the run, or coming along to watch and enjoy a coffee at the event.
