"These latest figures show that Australia's economy has grown every year over the last 21 years - a feat not matched by any other advanced economy over this period," said Mr Dreyfus.
"This latest economic report card is even more impressive against a backdrop of worsening global conditions.
"While Australia has one of the strongest economies in the world, the Federal Labor Government recognises that some people in our community are doing it tough."
"That is why we are spreading the benefits of our strong economy right around our community, with initiatives like the Schoolkids Bonus, which is supporting families by providing $410 a year for each child at primary school and $820 a year for each child in high school."
"We are committed to supporting families to help make ends meet."
Mr Dreyfus said that the new figures show Australia has the best combination of strong growth, low unemployment and lower interest rates than at any time under the Howard Government.
"A family on a $300,000 mortgage now pays around $4000 a year less in mortgage repayments than when the previous Coalition Government left office.
